The story takes place in a world without electricity and full of steam engines, at the end of the 19th century, in a country called Hy-Drasil, made up of nine islands in the North Atlantic, governed by Prime Minister Aston Longbow, a serious man who wants everything to work like a perfect machine, especially the central island and seat of government, Avalon, which is divided into three cities (Upper City, at the top of the island, where most of the country's elite reside, Interior, where a large part of the island's population lives, living in chambers and tunnels in the rocky interior, and the Wooden City, a port city that grew up on wooden piers, using parts of old ships, making it look like a ship graveyard). Very distinct cities, but at the same time very connected, in which there is a tenuous balance between various forces, so tenuous that a simple kidnapping ends up causing a cascade effect that could end up completely throwing the country into chaos. Intrigues and power struggles between ancient noble and political families affect the safety and lives of everyone in the three cities
Synopsis
In a Victorian-era world where electricity has been banned and machines are powered by steam, in a small, long-forgotten secret room, on an island full of ancient mysteries, a small robot, with technology never seen in that world, awakens. by chance and finds herself trapped there, with the energy that keeps her running out. She knows nothing about herself or the world, but decides to go on a journey in search of energy, so she can continue existing. This quest will take her to the depths of dark tunnels, to places of fantastic beauty and hidden and forgotten secrets, in addition to finding friends, mysteries and threats, changing the fate of many by, indirectly, opposing the plans of a mysterious man in seeking revenge.
